Recently, Sinosteel MECC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinosteel E&T, has inked a deal with ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail (AMTPJ), the largest and leading seamless steel pipe producer in the Middle East, to deliver a high-end seamless steel pipe processing complex. The EPC contract encompasses a 200,000tpa heat treatment and a 150,000tpa finishing line, enhancing AMTPJ’s capacity to serve critical sectors including oil and gas, shipbuilding, and offshore engineering across the MENA markets.
This project will underscore Sinosteel MECC’s commitment to expanding its presence across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, demonstrating its expertise in delivering high-end systemic solutions for the metallurgical and steel industry.
AMTPJ is a joint venture set up by ArcelorMittal Group and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), where PIF holds the majority stake.
